Hello.  My name is David Lieuwen and I am a 4th year medical
student at The Ohio State University School of Medicine.  I am
writing concerning the recent lobby to make the morning-after
pill available over the counter.  As you know, this pill causes
many physical (such as bleeding, nausea, etc)--as well as
ethical--concerns.  These pills are not contraceptive in nature;
rather, they are abortifacient in nature by preventing
implantation of a fertilized egg.  Please take steps to refuse
the petition currently before you.
