To Whom It May Concern:
 
I am adamantly opposed to the new rules on genetically
engineered foods.  At minimum, the following should be
required:
 
    1)  pre-market testing for human safety
    
    2)  pre-market environmental study
 
    3)  mandatory labeling
 
Already evidence of numerous potential health and
environmental hazards of GE foods abounds.  That the
FDA would choose to ignore this evidence is
unconscionable;  does FDA allegiance belong with the
corporate farming industry, or, as I would like to
believe, with the American consumer?
