We are writing as concerned citizens.  We believe it is our right to 
know if the food that is being sold to us contains genetically modified 
substances.  GMO foods, and the technology behind it, is controversial, 
and therefore people should have the information they need to make a choice.

Labeling of GMO foods is the only appropriate course of action in a 
democratic society.
