I am a concerned citizen reseiding in the state of NY.  I am writing in sharp 
disagreement with the current FDA proposals that do not require the 
pre-market testing, environmental review or labeling of genetically 
engineered foods.  I am asking that these proposed regulations be revised by 
placing a moratorium on commercial use of genteically engineered foods until 
mandatory testing proves them safe and requiring that all foods containing 
genetically engineered foods be labeled as such.  It is our right as 
consumers to know what we are eating and feeding our children.  Please remain 
vigilant in protecting these rights on our behalf.
