It is a sellout to industry and a shows calloused eat disrespect to consumers in not requring the manufacture to clearly label these products be labeled in such a way that that every consumer at least can be aware that the product is genetically modified and leaving the decision to the consumer as to whether he wishes to buy it. I feel that your proposed regulations are a violation of my civil rights. First of all, your responsibility is to us citizens and the environment -- not to profit greedy industrialists. I question they have a right to make these products, and you have given them the go-ahead in a very short-sighted way. How many of you are getting paid under the table? Anway we have the right to have them labeled explicitly so anyone can tell that they are so modified? In Europe they are banned by the government. What is wrong with our government that we are not even going to be able to tell whether our food is modified or not?
