Dear People,
 
I am very upset about new regulation pending that 
 
1) Does not require mandatory labeling of Genetically engineered foods
 
2) Does not require health and environmental testing of these products for safety.
 
I am even more concerned and frustrated by your proposals to:
 
1) Restrict the industry from voluntary labeling as desired.
 
2) Restrict public access to information.
 
These second two issues make it look like you are being controlled by the Mafia or something, instead of working to protect the American people!!! In my opinion this type of thing SHOULD make the decision maker personally liable for damages caused.
 
An incredibly insensitive and irresponsible law that you previously passed, specifically punished dairy farmers who were/are conscientious enough to not drug their cattle with cancer like chemicals. You not only discourage farmers from labeling their products, but you force them to pretend that the chemicals are not potentially harmful to the cow and the people drinking their milk!! UNBELIEVABLE THAT LAWMAKERS CAN BE SO BIASED AND SELF SERVING IN THEIR LAWS!!!
