I am very concerned about the proposed new rules on
genetically engineered (GE) foods. I am writing to
protect the health and the environment  of our
present and future generations, and to ensure
that consumers have the right to know
and choose the foodstuffs we consume. Therefore:

* The FDA must require mandatory pre-market comprehensive
  environmental review.

* The FDA must require mandatory pre-market long-term health
  testing.

* The FDA must require mandatory labeling of GE products.

* The FDA must cease its conflict of interest relationships with the industries
  it purports to be regulating.

*  The FDA ensure public access to adequate information
  for independent review
