First of all, I am AGAINST the marketing of such foods until such time as thorough, long-term testing has been completed. Secondly, I am FOR mandatory labeling of any products that contain any GE ingredients, so that consumers may exercise their democratic right to choose. Thirdly, I believe that the FDA should be a genuinely independent monitoring agency, and that should not be staffed my people who are on the payroll of the companies that they are intended to monitor. There should be NO conflicts of interest on the FDA, a body which the public trusts to sanction our food as tested and safe. Thank you, Ronald Decter 317 S.
