Dear Corporate and Government Leaders, Genetically engineered food ingredients or crops should not be allowed on the market until: 1) Independent safety testing demonstrates they have no harmful effects on human health or the environment, 2) They are labeled to ensure the consumer's right-to-know, and 3) The biotechnology corporations that manufacture them are held responsible for any harm. Please vote for health interests rather than corporate interests in this case. Our children are our most important asset. I believe that this may not have much impact on older, grown individuals. As usual, those most open to harm are the children, those young and the unborn. Please take caution. Let's not put the next generation in harms way because of corporate pressure. Thank you for your careful consideration of this matter. Yvonne Gillette melovelo@aol.com Sincerely Yvonne Gillette
