Dear Corporate and Government Leaders, Genetically engineered food ingredients or crops should not be allowed on the market until: 1) Independent safety testing demonstrates they have no harmful effects on human health or the environment, 2) They are labeled to ensure the consumer's right-to-know, and 3) The biotechnology corporations that manufacture them are held responsible for any harm. I believe that many of these corporations that are manufacturing genetically produced food items (namely Mansanto Corporation) are directly responsible for many of the maladies that affect our population. For example, the direct link between dioxin exposure and developing Endometriosis. This epidemic could have been prevented. We need to make use of the natural resources nature provided us, rather than chemically produce an artificial nature...this will ensure healthier generations.
