Dear Ms. Henney,
 
I know of no technology that represents a larger, greater, and deeper 
 danger to humankind and nature. Unfortunately no symbolic medium distorts 
human consciousness more than money -  and the life-less mechanistic, 
deterministic patterns of Mendel - reducing nature to statistics in his 
thesis of the 1860's - connects best with money - but opposes the real 
non-mathematical/non-commercial essence of life in nature.

I am incensed...... I am outraged.... and utterly angry as hell that an 
agency of the US government can so disregard and insult the intelligence 
of the general public - and thus that you refuse under pressure of luring 
economic forces to mandate public protection agaist the downsides of 
genetic engineering through real testing, labelling and regulation.

Outraged !!!!!!!
