I am deeply concerned regarding the emergence of antibiotic-resistant
pathogens due to overuse of sntibiotics in treatment of humans and
gross dosing of food animals in agriculture. It's vital for FDA to take
a hand in gathering reliable data AND possibly establishing some type(s)
of prohibition/control over the dangerously inappropriate use of antibiotics.
