I'm writing to implor you to grant petition 98P-0151/CP1 to prohobit the
slaughter of downed animals.
Besides the risk for bacterial contamination, this is an inhumane
practice that must be stopped.This petition will cause no financial
hardship as downed animals comprise a small percentage of animals sent to
slaughter.
Please grant this petition for the sake of the animals.
