Dear Corporate and Government Leaders, Genetically engineered food ingredients or crops should not be allowed on the market until: 1) Independent safety testing demonstrates they have no harmful effects on human health or the environment, 2) They are labeled to ensure the consumer's right-to-know, and 3) The biotechnology corporations that manufacture them are held responsible for any harm. I have two young children whose future health I am concerned about. We try to use as much organic & unprocessed food as possible because of issues like this. Some of our favorite comfort foods that we have not yet given up are those that you are manufacturing and genetically engineering. We are looking for alternatives to them on an onoing basis. It may seem that it is in your best interest not to inform people, but the reality is that those of us who do care are already finding alternatives to your products.
