Subject: Mandatory labeling for G.E.foods

To Whom it May Concern:

I urge you,
implore you,
I PLEAD with you... to please make labeling MANDATORY for all foods sold
that contain any biotechnically altered or engineered ingredients.
Consumers must have a choice in this matter.

To make labeling voluntary is ridiculous; a waste of time and resources,
and an insult to the American public.  Do you think passing legislation for
voluntary labeling makes the FDA appear consciencious?  Think again.
Perhaps it's a way for all of you to pat yourselves on the back -- however,
you've turned your back on your responsibility to the public.

Please reconsider.
