Commissioner,
In regards to any policies currently in formulation regarding genetically 
engineered foods I do hereby expect and demand that
consumer safety and environmental impact be given the very highest priority! 
I demand that quality of life not be made irrelevant
by ag-bio-tecs new world order! Genetically modified foods should be labled, 
tested, rendered procreatively sterile, grown under strict supervision or 
not at all. I for one am not axious to live in a world with "purple trees 
growing sideways out of buildings", "killer plants", and other cross bread 
monstrosities intermingling into the gene pool.
Elitest tech-head types need to take a long vacation and think this over.
It may seem intellectually moot to an bio-engineer that I consume a little 
fleck of DNA from some "rat's ass" when I consume a cantelope, but to 
someone who has devoted their whole life to vegetarianism and the natural 
and organic foods industry, what they casually take away from me is the 
security of knowing where my food is coming from and what it is. What would 
Jews think if pig DNA were included in their matza crackers? Would hindus 
casually exept cow DNA creeeping into the rice via some engineers escapades! 
Will you casually rape human culture for generations to come, thoughtlessly 
and without shame?
