I am writing to say that I feel that downed and sick animals should not
be slaughtered and used for food and that they should be required to be
humanely euthanized.  Imagine the torture a downed, hurt, sick animal
goes through when being moved for slaughter.  

I also don't believe that it is safe to consume animals which are sick.
