Genetic engineering of crops is merely a faster way of developing superior products than traditional breeding methods. If all crops that are not 'natural' should be labelled, I suggest that all crops currently on the market should be labelled with the method by which they were altered.
Once the FDA has approved an engineered crop for consumption, it should not be necessary to label it. Current consumer concern is driven by contradictory and unsubstanciated claims by radical special interest groups and money would be better spent in education of the public.
