I am strongly opposed to your preliminary regulations re: bioengineered food. As a consumer I am very concerned about the food I feed my family and want to avoid ge food until I feel it has been properly tested. I do not trust the manufacturers of these products to do any meaningful testing. I was furious to discover that the formula I was occasionally feeding my infant may have contained ge soybeans/oil when I had tried so hard to avoid it. I feel abandoned by the FDA, I don't think they have the individual consumers interest in mind when they propose meaningless rules like this. It APPEARS to be industry driven.
