Living in a rapidly-changing market, safety cannot be compromised. Consumers have the right and the need to know what they are buying and putting into their bodies. I fear the consequences that might erupt from lack of testing and/or lack of labeling of GE food. We cannot let the health of our society be subject to decisions of the big-money food industry and biotech corporations. I urge you to reconsider this proposal and insure that GE foods are subject to pre-market testing and labeling. Americans have a right to make informed decisions about the food we consume.
