Why not require those who USE the bio-engineered products to label their foods as such? Since this would generally be the larger corporations who have the resources for testing and packaging modifications.
Why should those who choose the NATURAL way - be it farming or food production - be the ones to bear burden and the cost of this? Currently organic farmers must comply with an multitude of regulations that increase their prices and scare many away from organic farming. You are penalizing food producers who chose not to use bio-engineered. Please turn this around and require those using bio-engineered to label their products.
