I am STRONGLY OPPOSED to voluntary labeling of GE foods. Labeling should be MANDATORY OR the foods EVEN BANNED. Evidence on the long-term effects on our health and environment is not yet in. The cost to the taxpayer down the road to clean up a genetically engineered disaster will be monumental. I want to maintain MY RIGHT NOT to eat foods of this kind. Your policy should permit me that right.
