As a consumer, I must enter my objections to a voluntary labeling system. This systems puts the burden on the consumer - forcing health consius individuals to search for labels that indicate a bio-tech free food. I would be appauled to purchase a box of candy only to get it home and find out it contained tobacco, this is the same thing. I could purchase a box of cereal or bag of chips only to find out later it was bio-engineered grains - contents unkown. Please move to a mandatory labeling for all products containing any form of ingredient that was bio-engineered. Please help support us as consumers.
