Comments for FDA General
Questions
1. General Comments Please register my concern that the FDA should require labeling for all bioengineered foods. The basic principle that an informed consumer has the right to make a choice is being ignored. We have seen time and time again that so-called voluntary efforts have been fruitless. I insist on the ability to select what food I buy and eat based on an informed opinion. Bioengineering as a field is too new and moveing too fast to simultaneously claim that there is no evidence of a problem. LACK OF EVIDENCE IS NOT PROOF OF ABSENCE. Let consumers make informed choices.
