I support MANDATORY labeling for bioengineered foods. I fear that the corporations developing these foods are so biased and financially driven, that their products are not adequately tested for safety and long-range adverse consequences. I will avoid all potentially bioengineered foods until the time that I am convinced that a product is safe to consume. For now, I am forced to purchase mostly organic foodstuffs which I know are not contaminated with bioengineered allergins, genes from animals or pesticides, which CANNOT be washed away. I urge you to mandate that all bioengineered foods be labeled. Thank you for your time and attention.
