Subject: Downed Animals

Please grant petition 98P-0151/CP1 to stop the slaughter of downed animals. If the United States is truly a great country, we can prove it by humanely treating all animals regardless of kind or condition. If an animal is too sick to stand, why would anyone want to consider it as food for human consumption.
