Dear Corporate and Government Leaders, Genetically engineered food ingredients or crops should not be allowed on the market until: 1) Independent safety testing demonstrates they have no harmful effects on human health or the environment, 2) They are labeled to ensure the consumer's right-to-know, and 3) The biotechnology corporations that manufacture them are held responsible for any harm. In Japan, Australia, Russia and all throughout Europe genetically engineered foods (or genetically modified organisms) MUST be labeled so! Don't the American people also deserve to the right to be able to make a conscious decision regarding the chemicals that they ingest? Tell me that we, the American people, do not deserve this right, and I will tell you that you've lost your mind! Sincerely Niki Reiner 10 Teresa Ave. Yonkers, New York 10704
