Dear Corporate and Government Leaders, Genetically engineered food ingredients or crops should not be allowed on the market until: 1) Independent safety testing demonstrates they have no harmful effects on human health or the environment, 2) They are labeled to ensure the consumer's right-to-know, and 3) The biotechnology corporations that manufacture them are held responsible for any harm. I find it a violation of my rights as a consumer that GE modified food is not labeled. If I do not aggree with a company's policy or practices, I should be able to take my money elsewhere. Even though I do not wish to consume GE modified products for the simple reason i find nothing wrong with natural food and would like further testing, I am unable to ascertain whether or not what i am eating these products. You are denying consumers a choice. If you insist on keeping these products on the market, at least provide those who wish to refrain the information to do so. I'm disgusted that superior food products are offered in Europe by the same companies that deny us this quality here. Sincerely katherine holland 330 de neve dr los angeles, California 90024
