Henney, M.D. FDA Commissioner 5600 Fishers Lane Rockville MD 20857 Dear Ms. Henney, I've read recently, information published by the UCS on their web site (at www.ucsusa.org ) concerning the possibility that the use of antibiotics in the agriculture industry may be contributing to the emergence of diseases in humans, potentially untreatable diseases. This concerns me and I believe that it would be prudent to take steps to monitor and possibly prevent this from becoming a dangerous problem. I would be in favor of (and I recommend) the creation and maintenance of a National Antibiotic-Use Reporting System as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
