It seems essential that we have public records on the quantities and kinds of antibiotics that are being used on our foods, and that research on the consequences of ingestion of such foods should be implemented and adequately supported. Perhaps the risk factors are small, but those who guard the safety of foods for the American public (rather than those who produce such foods) should do the work to determine this.
