Henney, MD Dear Jane, What a shame it is that we let the agricultural industry in our country use antibiotics for purposes of subsequent profit. The antibiotics should have been conserved for human health problems. Instead, we have destroyed the effectiveness of antibiotics by using them too much. Bacteria have mutated, and now what will we use to fight infection? Please engineer a process which will collect data on the quantity of antibiotics used in U.S. agriculture. We need to start a national antibiotic-use reporting system now. Sincerely, Dorothy Boyer 1969 Lakefield Road Cedarburg, WI 53012
