Subject: Please vote to grant petition

I urge you to grant petition 98P-0151/CP1 to prohibit the killing of downed animals for profit. These animals should be humanely euthanized or allowed to receive medical treatment instead. This is both for the good of the animal and for the good of people. Dragging an injured animal to its eventual death should be against the law in a country that claims to have advanced as much as ours has.
