To Whom It May Concern:

I urge you to grant petition 98P-0151/CP1 to prohibit the slaughter of downed animals.

In light of the recent mad cow disease outbreak in Europe, and in the interest of elevating the United States to a higher humane ground, please stop the slaughter of downed animals.
