To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is in reference to docket# 98p-0151/cpi (The humane treatment of 
downed animals).  We are in favor and wish to highly encourage your 
administration to grant the petition to end the outrageous cruelty of 
slaughtering downed animals for food. We feel it is in the best interest of 
our society. Not only for the obvious reasons of  human compassion, but also 
to ensure the safety of our food supply which is becoming more and more 
concerning with each passing year.
