This action will help insure that citizens will not ingest Bovine Spongiform Virus. Disabled and diseased cattle have an increased chance of infection of BSE. Also, disabled animals should be either sent to a sanctuary or humanely euthanized. The routine treatment of these animals is grotesque in the extreme.
