To whom it may concern:
I ask the FDA to do further research on the effects of genetically engineered food and I ask you to require labeling for all GE food items, including how they have been altered or enhanced.
First, consumers must know what they are consuming and what the possible effects are. Once properly informed, consumers can make rational, free choices as to what we put in our body.
Research on such effects and requiring consumer notification of the results are your primary duties as a government agency.
