Questions
1. General Comments Food should be labeled regarding its contents and makeup so the public can make an informed decision regarding whether or not they choose to consume it. Just as someone with a severe allergy to eggs would avoid Ceasar salad dressing or other products that list eggs as an ingredient, the public has a right to know when bioengineering or additives were employed in any of the items used to make the consumed food. The public has a right to be informed. Only clear labeling of products, including the use of bioengineering, can do this. This labeling should not be voluntary--IT SHOULD BE MANDATORY.
