Comments for FDA General
Questions
1. General Comments I am totally against non-labeling of genetically altered food products. If food products are not properly labeled this is in fact basically lying to the consumer. We should know exactly what we, the people, are consuming. Also, this would provide more opportunities for disease, and possible alteration of consumers own genetics. After all, the higher up the food chain you go, the more concentration there is of chemicals, altered genes, anti-biotics, pesticides, and anything else the FDA deems 'alright.' I guess people believe that somehow the human mammal must be exempt from ever becoming extinct, but keep on doing what you are doing. It will only be a matter of time before we are no longer able to reproduce. It is already happening in other species, some of which have became extinct, thanks to pesticide use, pollution, and other man-made obstacles. Think long and hard about the future implications of human beings no longer being able to have children, instead of greed and money in the present. What good will all money in the world be when there are no people????? Think about it.
