Questions
1. General Comments To date I have not seen any volunteer labeling of food by producers indicating if they have GMO food products in the ingredients. I do not beleive that they ever will because it is a trait that the producers wish to hide. On the other hand the producers of NON GMO foods are proud to label there products as such, and that is the label I look for on a product to purchase and eat. NON GMO is an adequate label to indicate that no GM ingredients are used and so is GMO FREE. Labeling a product as such should indicate no GM ingredients are used and that label should be enforced by law. All food products should be labeled to indicate if GM ingredients are used or not. I will let you be the first to indicate how that will be done and who could be exempt(such as small operators like truck farmers grossing less than $100,000 annual).
