The Glutamate Association supports the Food Allergy Issues Alliance efforts to develop voluntary food allergy labeling guidelines. We also support keeping the focus on the big eight allergens -- wheat, soy, milk, eggs, fish, crustaceans, peanuts and tree nuts -- as they account for 90 percent of all food allergic reactions.
