I am totally OPPOSED TO the irradiation of fruit juices and other foods.  By the FDA allowing irradiation Human beings are being made into experimental animals.  We do NOT need irradiation.  We do need the food industries to clean up their handling and processing.  Nutrient value should be a top priority, and there is plenty of evidence that irradiation destroys a significant portion of the nutrient value... while also creating new compounds that have NOT been proven safe for humans.

NOW the FDA should protect consumers rather than bow to industry pressure to lower nutrient value and safety in our foods.
