I believe that more research should have been done before removing this product from the market. people who do not suffer from IBS have no idea how debilitating it is. I went from being an outgoing person who loved to live life to someone who stays at home for fear of not being near a bathroom. I am forced to live my life with the fear and pain of IBS. Lotronex was my miracle for five months. I was no sick anymore and was able to do things that I hadn't done in years. I could go places and not have to worry about being sick. While it is tragic that some people dies taking this drug, it is even more unfortunate that thousands of us who were finally living again have been given a death sentence again. I am forced to return to the days of staying home in pain. IBS affects my life everyday. there is not a day that goes by that I am not in pain. There is not a day that goes by that I am not reminded that i am not able to live my life as I choose. Unfortunately the FDA and Glaxo forgot about the most important people involved...those of us who saw Lotronex as the way to a normal life again. I have suffered for 7 years with IBS and the 5 month release from this disease was not enough...I want to feel good every day. That is not possible without the Lotronex. Please do whatever possible to see that those of us who were having good effects are able to continue to take this drug. Thank you!
