I am a 28 year old woman who has had IBS for most of my life. I started taking Lotronex ( ˝ a pill a day) in June. It is amazing. I have become a normal human being. I can go out in public not having to panic if I will have to find a restroom suddenly. I can eat with confidence that my entire system will not flush out at any given moment. Prior to June I was unable to travel abroad in fear of becoming ill and not be able to find a bathroom. Since June I have traveled all over. I spent an entire week in Paris without any pain or diarreha. Amazing!!!! Lotronex has opened up so many doors for me and am now very sad that when my medicine is gone I will be back in that same bad situation. No more traveling, good dinners, I cannot eat sushi with out Lotronex, and the fear of accidents will be present again. I cannot even count the times I had to speed home or stop in restrooms due to this problem. I ask you please to reconsider. I know the drug was prescribed wrongfully in some cases but not in mine. That ˝ pill a day makes me who I am…free. So I am begging you to allow some if not all of us to remain on Lotronex.. I just want to stay healthy and happy. Thank You,
