Non-inferiority Trial Design

Protocol definition for non-inferiority was in terms of the lower bounds of the 95% C.I. for RR and TTP:

• Difference in RR (Tor – Tam) was not more than 10% worse than tam.

• TTP lower limit at least 0.80.
