Influence on Drug Metabolism
- In vitro bosentan
- Does not inhibit CYP1A2, 2C9, 2C19, 2D6 or 3A4
- Induces CYP2C9, 2C19 and 3A4
- In vivo bosentan
- Decreases exposure to CYP2C9 and 3A4 substrates by 30-60% (HV)
- Reduced efficacy of CYP2C9 and 3A4 substrates should be considered
