• Time of sampling can affect Cmax and AUC

  Example: Typical Cmax observed at 1 hour
  
  • Sample at 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6 hours
    • Cmax = 5100
  • Sample at 0, 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 4, 6 hours
    • Cmax = 4000
  • Sample at 0, 2, 4, 6 hours
    • Cmax = 3000
