 Please require foods and cosmetics containing carmine or cochineal to be explicitly labelled as such. Allergies are an important consideration. Also important is the fact that many vegans and vegetarians need to know if a product contains carmine or cochineal, since vegans and vegetarians strive to avoid eating insects. Furthermore, many people find ground up insects in their food and cosmetics to be repulsive, and would want to avoid this ingredient.
