- Counseling of Informal Complaints
- Processing of formal EEO Complaints
- Requests for Reasonable Accommodation
- Provision of Sign Language Interpreting Services
- Addressing of Accessibility Issues
- Provides No Fear Act Reports
- Provides Annual 462 Report to EEOC
- Provides Ad hoc reporting to Centers/Offices on complaints and reasonable
accommodation
Diversity Management Staff:
- Prepares workforce analyses for FDA Centers/Offices
- Provides ad hoc request for specific workforce profiles
- Identify possible barriers to equal employment
- Prepares mandated EEO plans and FEORP Reports
- Provides advice to eliminate employment barriers
- Provides briefings on new regulations/requirements
- Recommends retooling of data/tracking system
- Prepares guidance documents to functional liaisons
- Responds to document requests, interrogatories and discover requests
- Conducts Special Emphasis and Cultural Programs
- Work in collaboration with the FDA Diversity Council
Conflict Prevention and Resolution Staff:
- Mediation
- Facilitation
- Consultation
- Early neutral evaluation
- Provides training on the following:
- Basic EEO training for employees
- EEO Compliance for managers and supervisors
- Workplace harassment prevention ( including sexual harassment )
- Reasonable Accommodation
- Complaint prevention and resolution
- No Fear Act and MD 715
- Section 508 Compliance
