Advisory Committee on Special Studies Relating to the Possible Long-term Health Effects of Phenoxy Herbicides and Contaminants (Ranch Hand Advisory Committee)

This Committee was established to provide independent oversight of an Air Force health study of individuals who sprayed Agent Orange in Viet Nam. The Department of Health and Human Services was charged with this responsibility and in 1989 FDA/NCTR was assigned to support the Committee's activities.
