On-Time Quality Improvement for Long-Term Care - New York
August 8, 2007 (2 hrs.)
Improving the quality of care in our nation’s health care facilities, including long-term care facilities, is one of our highest
priorities at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
To accomplish this goal, AHRQ has launched the On-Time Quality Improvement for Long-Term Care project, a nationwide health information technology initiative designed to streamline daily care documentation and give health care providers real-time information about patients in long-term care settings. This web conference helps to educate long-term care decision makers and providers, providing an opportunity to learn about this project. A question and answer session follows the discussion.
This program also provides applicants’ information for the On-Time Quality Improvement for Long-Term Care Program Request for
Applications to be released by the New York State Department of Health in the near future. Through this RFA, the NYS DOH will offer financial support to nursing homes that wish to implement the On-Time program.

opinions in our decision-making.
We explore how best to ensure that employees are heard and their opinions taken seriously as a part of our culture. In addition, we explore ways to communicate the value of diverse opinions. The Diversity Council wants to create an opportunity for employees to openly discuss their views on ways in which we communicate our opinions including the use of the Whistleblower Act and less formal communications through the media and members of Congress.
